Education Seminars & Events
Evans Tran, PA at Pacific Coast Urology Medical Center presented information on The Urolift® System a proven minimally invasive treatment for BPH at Flemings Prime Steakhouse in El Segundo, CA . In attendance at the dinner presentation were 14 advanced practice providers. The mix of Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), pre-med students and office managers learned from Evans how midlevel providers can play a large role in educating patients on alternative treatment options for BPH. The attendees were interested in learning more about The Urolift® System and how it is an effective alternative to medication and surgery to treat BPH.
The participants were eager to discuss their role and how they could improve patient care in their practices. The educational event was sponsored by Neotract. If you would like to learn more about The Urolift® System, please call our office.

MISSED THE ANNUAL PCRI PATIENT CONFERENCE?
Western States HIFU is pleased to support the annual Prostate Cancer Research Institute (PCRI) Conference to be held at the Los Angeles Airport Marriot on September 7 – 9, 2018. The PCRI Conference is an exceptional educational experience for prostate cancer patients, their loved ones, and caregivers.
This is a fact-filled conference where men can find comprehensive information about prostate cancer and become fortified with the newest, clinical proven information to help them make informed decisions about their prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment. I am pleased to educate men with prostate cancer about HIFU – the remarkable non-invasive treatment that can cure cancer without the typical side effects of robotic surgery like incontinence and erectile dysfunction. I look forward to sharing my own HIFU experience when I was treated for prostate cancer last year.
