Evans Tran, PA participates in her 3rd Annual Medical Mission

Evans Tran, PA at Pacific Coast Urology Medical Center, is in Santa Barbara, Iloilo for her 3rd trip to volunteer with the Philippine Medical Society of Northern California* missionary group.  This diverse group of medical personnel will provide needed primary medical care and surgical services to residents of Santa Barbara, Iloilo in the Philippines.  The medical mission will take place from January 18 – 29, 2018.

Ms. Tran and other members of the medical team will offer a wide variety of services including pediatric exams, gynecologic/obstetric check-ups, adult complete physicals, and prescription dispensing and eye exams with eyewear dispensing.  The group will work side-by-side with missionary physicians to provide a wide range of much needed surgical services to hundreds of patients including cancer removal, cataract and glaucoma surgery, hernia repairs, hysterectomies and many other types of operations. Last year, as part of the Northern California Medical Missionary, Evans helped to provide medical and surgical services to over 9,000 low income residents of Dumaguete and neighboring towns in the Negros Oriental province. Evans is thrilled to, once again, work closely with health professionals in different departments, including outpatient care, public health projects, surgery, women’s health and more to help patients with their healthcare needs. “I am so happy that Dr. Pugach sponsors my medical mission trip each year,” says Ms. Tran. “I’m pleased and proud to represent Pacific Coast Urology Medical Center in this tremendous humanitarian project.”
