Appointments:

To optimize utilization of time for both patient and physician, office hours are by appointment only. Please call our friendly reception desk to schedule a convenient appointment at any of our three offices. For emergencies, we will do out best to get you in to see Dr. Pugach right away.  Prescription refill requests are also handled by calling our regular office number during regular office hours.  Please allow 48 business hours to process your prescription request.  Note: If your health plan's authorization is needed, it may take longer.   We appreciate your understanding.

We value your time and we make every effort to stay on schedule. Occasionally, however, Dr. Pugach’s surgical cases run over or he is called away for emergency situations. If this should happen, we will do our best to contact you prior to your arrival and keep you informed as to when you will be seen. Please extend us the same courtesy by notifying us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Office Hours and Patient Communications

Pacific Coast Urology Medical Center is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. One day a week we offer extended hours for appointments till 6:00 PM.  Please call the office for the schedule.

Should you have an EMERGENCY situation arise after regular office hours, Dr. Pugach can be reached by dialing our main Los Alamitos office phone number: 562.594.0860 and our system will page him. If you cannot reach Dr. Pugach, you should go to your local hospital or emergency room. If life threatening, call 911.

Patient communication is a priority for our practice. We strive to keep you informed of your care and treatment. If you have a medical question during regular office hours, we ask that you give the essential details concerning your problem to our staff. They will inform Dr. Pugach of your concerns. Should a return call from the doctor be necessary, it will be done in a timely fashion.
